For this piece, I wanted to experiment with oils and texture. The concept came to me when a friend was talking to me about her cats when they were on catnip. I wondered how they saw the world, I figured it would be very strange. I tried to use really bright colors and make everything around the cat look sort of off, while the cat itself looked normal. Overall, I'm not entirely happy with how the cat turned out and I want to get rid of the eyes, but I'm not too mad about how the grass and sky look
