I really wanted to do something... dreamlike. The background is supposed to b kind of wacky and nonsensical, after all, in your dreams there's always something... off. Frankly that's the charm of it. Senior year is stressful for so many reasons, you've got college apps, the stress of getting into college in the first place, and it's also the last year of high school, which is literally all I know. Sometimes you just need a BREAK from reality, and that's kind of what dreams are. Like there's parts of reality in them but it's all... off. It's such a cool concept to me and I really wanted to try illustrating it. I also decided to experiment with a much more cartoony style than my usual stuff, and it was honestly lot of fun!
